Ashley Grant (@theblachat) is a 29 year old purpose driven photographer come visual story teller and content creator specialising in Equestrian Event Coverage.
What inspires you?
Having the ability to share experiences with people through images is amazing. The small intricate details that really make objects and setting inspire me to share what I see. I also I love possessing the ability to express myself through art whilst creating my own authentic aesthetic that has ultimately become a recognisable trait.
Photography is clearly your passion, what do you love about it?
I shoot with the intent to create a feel and experience. I look for the finer details of the whole aspect and location to ensure I am creating a visual story for the viewers. I like to keep my images as minimal as possible, clean and purpose focused – I find less often more, and it allows viewer to experience what I am visualising through the lens whilst allowing their imagination to wonder. I am passionate about creating meaningful images that equestrians and non-equestrians alike can appreciate.
