Aztec Diamond is a solutions oriented brand creating contemporary, technology led pieces that blur the line between premium performance wear and everyday luxury apparel for your on-the-go lifestyle.
Founded in 2014 by Jordan McCabe, Aztec Diamond inherited it’s namesake from the CEO’s beloved horse. McCabe began her journey at only 18 years old, struggling to find fashionable, technical sportswear in the equestrian industry at an attainable cost throughout her showjumping career - she decided to fulfil her childhood dream of starting her own equestrian sports wear brand, designing premium quality products she felt were missing from the market.
Brand growth led to organic transition for both founder McCabe and Aztec Diamond, as she gradually stopped riding to pursue her business goals, her day-to-day changed. Still living an extremely active and busy lifestyle, AD products naturally began to transition into designs for every day that still held a performance led edge.
Creating modern designs built for form and function. The goal to continuously innovate on the past led to the development of garments recognised for their bold minimalist style and dynamic durability, transcending the limitations of equestrian into a range of sports and elevated every day wear.
Aztec Diamond continues to be designed and styled in-house in the UK.
Growing up in a working class background with no extensive experience in business or textiles, founder & CEO Jordan McCabe started Aztec Diamond from the ground up as a teenager.
"All I ever wanted to do was design equestrian clothing" says McCabe "I still have folders full of designs from when I was around ten or eleven years old, those designs were the start of my journey and the ideas that would evolve into the products we create today"
A decade on, she continues to be a true representation of her creative vision, designing and developing products herself in-house, alongside a growing team.
"I would never develop something that I wouldn't wear now or have worn myself when I was younger, it's about continuously innovating but staying true to our roots"
Through her work with Aztec Diamond, McCabe has earned a place on the coveted "Forbes 30 under 30" list and been the recipient of multiple awards such as Lloyds Bank's new entrepreneur of the year, Entrepreneur's Forum entrepreneur of the year and Great British Entrepreneur Awards best in retail.
