Developed in partnership with Charles Owen and based on the trusted Shadow back protector, this lightweight system integrates seamlessly into your show jacket for discreet Level 2 back protection without compromising style or freedom of movement.

Featuring a specially developed lightweight foam protector and custom hook-and-loop attachment system, the Shadow Guard fits securely within designated Aztec Diamond jackets, sitting comfortably against the body and remaining virtually invisible when worn. The ergonomic design follows the rider's natural movement, allowing unrestricted performance both on the flat and over fences.

Certified to motorcycle back protector standard EN1621-2:2014 Level 2, the Shadow Guard provides high-performance impact protection across the back while maintaining the refined silhouette expected in the show ring.

Ideal for riders seeking a lighter, less restrictive alternative to a traditional body protector, the Shadow Guard delivers confidence and comfort when competing.

The Shadow Guard has been specifically designed to fit compatible Aztec Diamond competition jackets.

When fitted correctly, the Shadow Guard protector should sit comfortably against the back without restricting movement. The integrated hook-and-loop attachment points at the nape and sides of the jacket ensure secure positioning while riding.

To check the protector length, when seated in the saddle measure from the nape of your neck to approximately 7cm above the point of the saddle. This will help ensure the protector does not interfere with the saddle while riding.
